Amy has been a Skate Canada Coach since 2006. She is a Regional Certified Coach and our Team Lead for our PreCanSkate, CanSkate and STARSkate programs.

Krystal Shephard

Krystal has been involved in figure skating for over 34 years - as a skater, coach, and volunteer. She is a Regional Certified Skate Canada Coach working towards her Provincial Certification and a certified STAR 1-5 Assessor and STAR 6 - Gold Assessor.

Her approach to coaching focuses on creating a positive and encouraging environment where skaters feel supported, motivated, and confident. She believes in helping each skater grow both on and off the ice — developing strong technical skills, resilience, and a lifelong love for the sport.
