Fees

 

Skate Canada Membership - $58.70

This is a mandatory annual membership set by Skate Canada. It is skater specific and entitles that skater to participate in all Skate Canada programs.  It ensures that all tests passed are recorded to a central data base. It also acts as Participant Liability Insurance. For more information please check out Skate Canada's website at www.skatecanada.ca

 

Administrative Fee - $25.00

A mandatory fee that applies to each family of skaters regardless of how many skaters you have. We use the fee to help cover expenses related to our operations. 

 

Ice Show Fee - $60.00

Optional participation in Ice Show. Fee helps offset costs associated with Ice Show such as ice time, costume rentals/alterations/repairs, decorations etc. Participants have three weeks after registering for Ice Show for a refund. After that time has passed, the fee becomes nonrefundable. 

 

 

Volunteer/Fundraising Requirements

 

Each family is required to submit a $200 cheque at the beginning of the season prior to first skate.  

The volunteer requirement is 4 hours of your time. There are many opportunities throughout the season to work off hours. Please see a Board Member for more information. Or contact petrolia.skating.club@gmail.com

In addition to volunteer requirements, each family is required to fundraise. Fundraising requirement is $100 kickback to the club per family. 

After hours/fundraising requirements are completed, cheques are destroyed and not cashed.
